Hi, I'm Amber — the handywoman behind Amberssadoor Services. After 20+ years in the corporate world, I was laid off this past March, and it turned out to be the push I needed to build something of my own around the work I've always loved.
For years I've painted, organized, and assembled furniture in my own home — and happily jumped in to help friends and family do the same. A few weeks ago I started offering that help to my neighbors through TaskRabbit, and I haven't looked back. Painting and decorating are my happy place; there's nothing better than that before-and-after moment when a space finally feels finished and inviting.
I'm based in the Rowlett, Garland, Sachse, and Wylie area, and I'm glad to travel a little further for a small trip fee. I show up when I say I will, treat your home with respect, clean up when I'm done, and sweat the small details so you don't have to.
When I'm not working, you'll probably find me chasing a good sunset, cooling off in the pool after a long day, tending my new sourdough starter, or drinking a little too much coffee — usually with my three rescue dogs underfoot. I'm also the proud "favorite aunt." I'd love to help make your space feel like home.
